Features
- Sprite Store: Uploaded dinosaur player texture named playerDinosaur and an original isolated true-alpha cactus sprite named cactusObstacle
- Canvas API: Procedural clean arcade Dino Dash runner that begins automatically when the Lens opens. Keep the plain scrolling ground with a slim vivid-green grass strip and the enlarged uploaded dinosaur grounded flush on the platform. Scroll the white sky clouds horizontally at exactly the same world speed and direction as the ground, wrapping each cloud to the right after it exits the left edge so the full environment moves together. Use one recurring compact upright original green cactus obstacle as an independent transparent sprite: only cactus pixels visible, bold stylized outline, tall central body with one or two short arms, flat bottom, and no background, scenery, shadow, text, logo, or border. Spawn cactus obstacle groups with substantially farther randomized gaps and a high minimum interval so groups never arrive too close together. Most groups contain one cactus; occasionally spawn a fair paired double-cactus group, with two independently collidable cactus sprites set close together as a single jump challenge. Align every cactus base to the platform and end the run when the dinosaur collides with its visible cactus shape. Increase the base scrolling speed slightly while keeping every cactus group safely jumpable. Award exactly 2 points once only for each individual cactus safely cleared, including both cactuses in a paired group; do not award distance, token, random, or any other score increases. Preserve the stronger single-jump velocity, airborne collectible tokens, score display, and tap-to-restart flow. At game over, immediately hide the top score readout and show an attractive centered arcade-style status in exactly this vertical order: “GAME OVER,” “SCORE” with the final score, “BEST SCORE” with the locally saved best score, then “RETRY.” Update and retain the best score whenever the final score exceeds it. Submit the final score to the leaderboard and show it at game over.
