Features

• Text On Screen: Bottom UI label and list for captured BLACK pieces: “Black taken:” followed by captured piece emojis (wrapped).
• Canvas API: Creates a full-screen procedural 2D render of the chessboard (8x8), coordinate labels (A–H, 1–8), emoji pieces, selection highlight, last-move highlight, legal-move indicators, and per-move sliding animations. Update: board squares are fully opaque again (no added transparency) while pieces/highlights/UI remain unchanged.
• Face Retouch: Subtle automatic face retouch so the user looks good while playing (camera feed remains visible behind the board).
• Text On Screen: Displays live material score.
• Text On Screen: Displays game status: turn, bot thinking, check, and end state. After game end, it shows the final result (win/lose/draw) and “Tap to replay!” and keeps it visible until the user taps to restart.
• Touch Events: Provides tap input for selecting/moving pieces during play and for replaying after game over. Taps are ignored while the bot is thinking or while any move animation (including castling) is playing.
