• Zoom: Gently settles the live salon preview back to the natural wide camera framing, so more of the user’s hair and silhouette remain visible without changing the hair-colour tracking or treatment.
• Hair Color: Preserved real-time hair-segmentation-only salon colour visualization. The controller keeps it off for clean welcome, login, scan, profile, and recap screens, then enables it only during live colour try-on and selected-look confirmation stages. The four available placements now use distinct dimensional hair-only treatments: Highlights is a restrained two-tone blend, Ends stays in lower lengths, Balayage uses a soft deeper-root-to-lighter-length melt, and Ombré uses the strongest root-to-tip gradient. The palette now includes Silver, Lavender, and Cotton Candy Pink alongside the existing salon and fashion shades; face, skin, eyes, brows, clothing, background, texture, highlights, and volume remain untouched.
• Hand Tracking: Enables optional touch-free smart-mirror navigation: open palm advances, swipe changes shades, thumb up confirms, while touch remains available.
• Sound: A quiet one-shot confirmation tone for major commitment and navigation actions only: Login, Sign Up, Begin or Continue, Try On, Save Look, stylist handoff, Confirm Service, and Done. Swatches, placement choices, sliders, back controls, passive pills, and automatic states remain silent.
• Canvas API: Premium dark frosted-glass smart-salon mirror interface. A slim top bar, edge-aligned four-option placement sidebar, and spacious lower control zone leave the live camera, face, and hair unobstructed in the center; colour-family selection opens into shade detail with a quiet light-to-dark slider and back navigation. Returning customers now see their saved-profile recap followed by a dedicated Choose Your Next Service screen, where they can begin a new Colour, Cut, or Treatment visit before entering live colour try-on. UI transitions use a short, restrained fade only and do not affect the AR treatment.
• Device Camera: Supplies the untouched live camera reference for the professional Before/After comparison and an optional final session photo. The Lens shows a camera-use disclosure at entry and requires a separate photo-capture consent before capture; the consented snapshot can be reviewed in a session gallery and is not used for customer identification.
• Persistent Storage: Stores a compact, consented local salon profile and latest confirmed look on the mirror device; never stores photos or face recognition data.
• Touch Events: Large, touch-friendly controls for each stage of the smart-mirror journey: Login or Sign Up, temporary registration scan, hair history, swatches, placement, final comparison slider, stylist handoff, and confirmation.
