What can I build?
Full-screen, non-camera Lens experiences in 2D or 3D. Games are the main focus right now, but you can also make interactive stories, tools, toys, and more.
How do I make one?
The capability is available to Lens+ subscribers in Easy Lens web. Describe what you want in the Easy Lens chat. Easy Lens plans it, writes the code, and builds it. Every message after that refines the same Lens.
How long does a build take?
Builds run in the background and typically take 5 to 20 minutes per turn. You can keep working while you wait.
Can I test it before publishing?
Yes. Play it in the browser preview, or use Push to Snapchat to try it on your phone.
How do I publish?
Easy Lens records a preview video of your game for you, or you can record your own on the publish screen. Keep or change the icon, add a name of up to 18 characters, and submit through the usual flow. You can enroll in Lens+ payouts when you submit. After you publish, you can update it in place and it keeps its link.
Do these Lenses earn payouts?
They can be eligible for Lens+ payouts. If you're accepted in the Lens+ Payouts program, you can enroll a Lens when you publish it, and an enrolled Lens may become exclusive to Lens+ and Platinum subscribers.
Who can create with this?
Lens+ subscribers, on Easy Lens web. Easy Lens mobile can play these Lenses but can't build them yet.
Where can I consume such Lenses?
You can consume these Lenses on Snapchat, and in Easy Lens mobile.
What's not supported?
Camera, face, hand, body, and world tracking (those stay native Lenses). Bitmoji, leaderboards and saved progress aren't available yet.
